"Camargue Feria and Pic Saint Loup Wines" from the 10th to the 13th of october 2007
Grape harvest is almost finished here, but salt harvest has just started, and will end within 3 weeks or so. As usual, the tradition local Feria will take place, and the village is preparing to celebrate this special period of the year. It will be time for the "Courses camarguaises", the "Abrivado" and the "Bandido" (running  of the bulls in the streets while young people compete to outrun the charging young bulls), the "Gardians (cowboy) parades, fiestas, bodegas, flamenco... Be part of it!!

Note : the "Course Camarguaises" are bloodless bullfightings, in which the objective is to snatch a rosette from the head of a young bull. They take place in a small arena, specially built up for the occasion at the foot of the remparts, made of handmade woody "theaters". Definitevly a special event, in the pure local tradition

Of course, during the Tours, we will immerse you into the Pic Saint Loup wines, produced in one of the best vineyard of region. We will get to know better the Costières de Nîmes wines as well. City tours of Nîmes "the roman", and Montpellier.

In order to enjoy another exceptional event in this region : the 17th Finest Wine Auction of the Languedoc and Roussillon at Saint Jean de Cuculles in Pic Saint Loup, on the 13th and 14th of oct.
